NFL players play during Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day Weekend, a time to spend with family, friends and loved ones. Most people spend their holiday weekend around a pool, soaking up the sun and enjoying a barbecue. NFL players are no different from you and I. They also like to have a good time. Hey, it’s the offseason! So, what were some NFL superstars up to this weekend? Well, a quick Instagram and Twitter search would reveal the results. Here’s what we found:

DeSean Jackson was letting his chain hang at the Palms pool in Vegas with some lovely ladies. Can you blame him?

Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon may or may not have been poppin’ bottles this weekend. But he snapped  a quick picture of this bottle of Armanc de Brignac. Retail value is $599. No big deal, apparently.

Eagles rookie tight end Zach Ertz spent some time in Palo Alto. We assume he worked on running routes. Let’s face it, Chip Kelly runs a very detailed offense and if Ertz wants to win a job in August, he better fine tune his skills in May.

Last week, Jets quarterback Geno Smith inked a deal with Jay-Z’s agency Roc Nation. This weekend, he pulled out his camo pants and did some window shopping in New York City.

Chargers rookie wide receiver Keenan Allen hung out in Vegas — at the Palms, to be exact. From the looks of it, he enjoyed himself at the pool. He even made a statement wearing some chromed-out sunglasses and a floral-printed hat.

Brandon Marshall has tested the male fashion boundaries before, and this weekend wasn’t any different. The Bears wide receiver spent his free time in front of the camera. Are those pants salmon or pink?

While you were at the neighborhood pool party, Titans running back Chris Johnson was out in the Dominican Republic. Check it out. Here you can see him enjoying the sandy beaches while playing some volleyball with friends. Ahh, the life.

Terron Armstead caught the attention of many scouts during the NFL Combine by running a 4.71 in the 40-yard dash. Months later, the New Orleans Saints would spend a third-round pick on the offensive tackle. This weekend, Armstead was putting in work on the treadmill.

Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson was out on the water riding a jet ski. Good to see him taking extra precaution wearing his life jacket.

Broncos linebacker Shaun Phillips was busy flossin’ this weekend. Take a look at that Rollie. That thing is clean.

Seahawks stud safety Kam Chancellor remembers where he’s from. He played his collegiate ball at Virginia Tech and over the weekend, he hosted a cookout which was apparently a “complete success.” Great stuff, Bam Bam.

' Bills wide receiver Da’Rick Rogers was busy taking selfies in his new Buffalo hat. Rogers, who went undrafted in April, will be on a short leash during his rookie season.

Falcons safety Thomas DeCoud had a weekend to remember while he attended Brent Grimes’ wedding.

Reggie Bush has been in the spotlight since his days at USC. This offseason, he signed a deal with the Detroit Lions and recently said he’s not “here to vacation.” Clearly. Well, the veteran running back was poolside in Vegas — a very popular destination.

Buccaneers defensive tackle Adrian Clayborn went back where it all started: Iowa City. Looks like he had a nice time riding around on an ATV inside Iowa’s training facility. Questions? Comments? Send them to lacesoutmail@gmail.com and we might respond in our weekly mailbag!
