Just when the Super Bowl seating fiasco couldn't get any worse, news came out on Monday that the NFL was aware of the potential woes as early as the middle of last week.
According to a report by The Dallas Morning News, six sections of temporary seating did not have a final installation of guard rails nor a tightening of stairs and risers. As a result, roughly 1,250 fans were affected, with 850 getting relocated elsewhere in the stadium and the other 400 left without a seat for the game.
