NFL 'Down the Stretch' grades: Arizona Cardinals

Published Dec. 3, 2014 3:55 p.m. ET

Now riding a two-game losing streak and especially coming off a disappointing performance last week in Atlanta, a small cloud is beginning to form over the Arizona Cardinals.

Could all the injuries finally derail the Cardinals?

Maybe, but the the Cardinals are 9-3 and lead both the NFC West and NFC three-quarters of the way through the regular season. Historically speaking, a playoff spot basically is assured: Since 2002, 39 of 40 teams to start the season 9-3 made the playoffs.

So with that, it's no surprise what grade FOX Sports' Alex Marvez gave the Cardinals in his latest report card heading into the final quarter of the season.

Find the Cardinals' grade here (and just think about what the grade could be if not for that loss to the Falcons), and check out the other 31 teams as well.

And remember, this isn't Arizona's final grade. It could go up ... or down.
