The Titans (20-11), winners of the Big West Tournament, are seeded No. 15 in the East Region and face No. 2-seeded Purdue on Friday in Detroit at Little Caesar's Arena.

The first-round matchup of the NCAA Tournament marks the return to the Big Dance for Fullerton. The Titans fell to Wisconsin during the 2008 Tournament, 71-56, while their last Tournament win came in 1978.
