The Northern Arizona women's soccer team will take 1-4 record into this weekend's NAU Mountain Classic games against Illinois-Chicago and New Mexico.
Sebrina Rodriguez is one of 15 freshmen on NAU's roster.
The Lumberjacks will host Illinois-Chicago (1-3-2) at 8 p.m. Friday in a game that can be seen live on FOX Sports Arizona Plus. They finish their weekend schedule against New Mexico (2-2-1) at 2 p.m. Sunday. The New Mexico game will air on tape-delay on FOX Sports Arizona starting at 5 p.m.
Four different NAU players have scored goals through the first five games: juniors Adrian Nixt and Anna Goebel, sophomore Mei-Te Coco and freshman Malia Lyken. Lyken is one of 15 freshmen on the roster.
Leadership for the young roster is provided by seniors Dani Muniz and Linsday Doyle and juniors Nixt and Missy Kettelkamp.
