NAU kicks off final homestand on FOX Sports Arizona
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- The Northern Arizona women's basketball team starts its final homestand of the season on Thursday in the Rolle Activity Center versus North Dakota at 6:30 p.m.
Thursday's game versus North Dakota will be televised live by NAU-TV and broadcasted live on Fox Sports Arizona Plus and Fox College Sports Atlantic.
The Lumberjacks will turn the page at home after a tough week on the road suffering losses to Idaho and Eastern Washington. NAU looks to separate itself from a crowded middle of the pack in the Big Sky Conference standings. The Lumberjacks reside in sixth place to start the week.
North Dakota suffered its first league loss on Saturday to Sacramento State, 64-62, to end the week after cruising to a 76-45 victory over Portland State on Thursday. Since defeating NAU in the teams' first meeting on Feb. 7 behind 23 points from junior Mia Loyd, North Dakota has dropped three of its last four games and is currently in a tie for fourth in the conference with a 9-6 Big Sky record and 17-10 overall.
