Nationals' Harper irks Washington fan base with Cowboys hat

Washington Redskins fans are disappointed about some sporting apparel that Bryce Harper wore to the local zoo over the weekend. The Washington Nationals' All-Star outfielder is a Dallas Cowboys fan, and he was caught wearing a Cowboys hat.

When pictures of Harper -- the No. 1 pick in the 2010 draft and 2012 National League Rookie of the Year -- wearing the hat surfaced on social media sites like Twitter, D.C. area fans voiced their displeasure.

The Washington Post gathered several of the responses. One said that Harper was wearing "a clown hat, bro." Another called it "almost unforgivable."

If local fans want Harper to leave the city, I'm sure the Texas Rangers would be more than happy to take him off their hands.
