Now that's cold.

To help promote the upcoming Sprint Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway, Austin Dillon -- driver of the No. 3 American Ethanol Chevrolet -- spent the afternoon at the skating rink with the Olympic champion ice dancing team of Meryl Davis and Charlie White.

It was Dillon's first time on skates, so he got a little help ... much to the dismay of MIS president Roger Curtis.

Dillon emerged from the afternoon without any broken bones.

Davis and White will serve as grand marshals at the Pure Michigan 400 in August.
