ARLINGTON, Texas – All-Star outfielder Nelson Cruz doesn't remember ever having problems with migraine headaches in the past.

He'll remember the one he endured Friday. Cruz was out of the Texas lineup because of the headache and the club sent him home.

The good news for Cruz is that he was back in the lineup Saturday after his head starting feeling better around noon.

"It was the first time I felt it that stayed that long," Cruz said. "They sent me home to rest but it was hard to rest while watching them play."

Cruz thinks a lack of rest may have led to his headache. He said he didn’t get much sleep in Detroit during the team’s final series before the All-Star break. He also didn’t get much rest during the All-Star festivities because of the noise near his hotel in New York City.
