NEW YORK (AP) Mighty Ian led all the way Friday in the $67,000 allowance feature at Aqueduct.
Cornelio Velasquez was aboard for trainer Rudy Rodriguez as the 4-year-old chestnut gelding got his fifth win in 11 starts. The time was 1:50.75 for 1 1/8 miles on the fast track.
Mighty Ian paid $5.40, $3.60 and $2.70. Idle American finished second, 5 1/2 lengths behind the winner, returning $5.50 and $3.50. Matterhorn paid $3 to show.
