Michigan RB arrested on DUI suspicion

BY foxsports • July 23, 2012

Over the weekend, Michigan football was hit with some bad news when their starting RB, Fitzgerald Toussaint was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired.
Toussaint was arrested just before Midnight on Saturday night after being pulled over for a traffic violation in Saline, Michigan. A breathalyzer test applied was over the legal limit of .08 blood-alcohol level.
Toussaint rushed for 1,041 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2011 and was expected to start in the Wolverines backfield when the season opens in September.
Michigan coach Brady Hoke has not yet commented, but he has been a good disciplinarian when his players have crossed the law in the past. It would not be a surprise to see Toussaint punished when Michigan opens the year against Alabama.
