OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A year after being runner-up at the Women's College World Series, Michigan is the highest-seeded team in this year's field.

The second-seeded Wolverines beat Missouri twice in the Ann Arbor Super Regional to advance to the WCWS, which starts Thursday at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.

Georgia upset Florida, the two-time defending national champion and No. 1 national seed, in Super Regionals. Even without the Gators, the Southeastern Conference makes up half the field with Georgia, Alabama, LSU and Auburn.

No. 3 seed Oklahoma, whose campus is 25 miles from Hall of Fame Stadium, returns to the WCWS after failing to make the field last season.
