The University of Miami men's basketball team moved up two spots to No. 18 in the Associated Press' latest poll released on Monday.
Last week, Miami dropped from No. 15 to No. 20 when the Hurricanes lost to Wisconsin-Green Bay, 68-55, on Dec. 6. They bounced back to beat Savannah State, 70-39, two days later.
Miami (9-1) returns to the court on Friday night to host Eastern Kentucky after an 11-day break to finish the fall semester. The Hurricanes then head north to face Providence on Dec. 22 in the Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational before welcoming the College of Charleston on Dec. 30.
There are seven Atlantic Coast Conference teams in the Top 25. Miami opens ACC play on Jan. 3 when No. 6 Virginia visits the BankUnited Center.
