Meyer gets two more in-state pledges
Urban Meyer has picked up two highly-touted in-state class of 2015 recruits in the last two days.
Pledging to Ohio State during this, the heart of summer camp and offer-making season, have been Dublin Scioto linebacker Nick Conner and Cleveland St. Ignatius defensive end Dre'Mont Jones.
Both are listed as four-star recruits by Scout.com, which has Conner as the 13th best outside linebacker prospect nationally in the 2015 class and Jones as the 23rd best defensive end prospect.
Ohio State now has five 2015 pledges in the last 10 days and eight 2015 pledges in all, five Ohio natives.
Conner is listed at 6'3, 215 and Jones at 6'5, 250. It's too early to know how they'll fit early in their college careers, especially with four freshmen linebackers on this year's team expected to push for playing time and the 2014 Buckeyes potentially having one of the nation's best defensive lines.
Ohio State's 2014 freshmen reported last weekend and began summer school on Monday.
