Tom Brady renegotiated his deal in February to clear cap space for the Patriots. The move, which extended Brady’s contract three years, reportedly reduced his cap number in 2013 and 2014 from $21.8 million to a much more reasonable amount. Well, that may have been all for naught as the Patriots let Brady’s No. 1 target, Wes Welker, walk to Denver. According to Tom E. Curran of Comcast SportsNet New England, a member of  Brady's camp is absolutely livid about Welker's departure.

How can you blame him? Welker is New England's all-time leading receiver with 672 receptions in the past six seasons.
