McClune gets no discipline for hit on Anisimov

Blue Jackets fans likely remember the totally legitimate and not-excessive-at-all hit put on Anton Anisimov by Rich McClune during the first period of Saturday night's game.
According to the Tennessean, this innocent act was deemed as such by the NHL powers that be and will not be met with any supplemental discipline beyond the major for interference and game misconduct that was handed out on Saturday.
McClune, who was fined earlier this year for a hit on Aaron Palushaj, clearly was unable to pull up in the mere seconds after Anisimov released the puck. He probably left his feet in a last-ditch attempt to ensure Anisimov's safety.
Let's now re-watch this perfectly legitimate hockey play.
