Padres outfielder Cameron Maybin says he is focused on the field, despite the team and his representatives still talking about an extension for him.
"My whole thing is, once I showed up it's time to play," Maybin told the North County Times. "So I really don't have anything to say about it."
Maybin hit .264 with nine homers, 40 RBIs and 40 steals in 137 games last season, his first full Major League season.
The Padres and Maybin have been talking off and on about an extension since last September.
