Matthew Tkachuk selected by Flames in NHL Draft

St. Louisan Matthew Tkachuk, the son of St. Louis Blues legend Keith Tkachuk, was selected by the Calgary Flames with the sixth pick in the NHL Draft. 

Tkachuk developed as a prospect while playing for the St. Louis AAA Blues, and he's since played for the U.S. National under-17 and under-18 teams. He spent last season with the London Knights of the OHL and collected 30 goals and 77 assists in 57 games.
