Matt Barnes: Chris Paul says he's playing in Game 3 vs. Rockets
Chris Paul is officially listed as questionable for the Clippers in Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals, but according to Matt Barnes, Paul will play Friday night at Staples Center.
Paul has missed two postseason games with a strained left hamstring.
"I know no matter he wanted to be out there Game 1 and 2," Barnes said at Friday's shootaround. "We held him back. He said he's playing tonight. You just hope he's ready. His game is so much so stop and go. He's such an integral part of our team. I hope he can stay healthy throughout the game."
Paul came out of his Wednesday workout OK and went through a light shootaround Thursday at the Clippers practice facility.
The Clippers won Game 1 in Houston without Paul but struggled running the offense without him in the second half of the Clippers' Game 2 loss at the Toyota Center.
Paul, who celebrated his 30th birthday Wednesday, has said he's been working around the clock to get back on the court.
