Marquette-St. John's rescheduled for Sunday

Published Jan. 23, 2016 3:20 p.m. ET

Marquette and St. John's will play at 2:45 p.m. Sunday at Carnesecca Arena on the St. John's campus.

CBS Sports Network will air the game at 5 p.m.

St. John's postponed the game from its original 7 p.m. start time Saturday at Madison Square Garden because of the blizzard hitting the East Coast.

The storm has exceeded expectations. Forecasters increased their snow predictions for New York and points north, calling for 15 to 20 inches. The blizzard, with hurricane-force winds, has brought much of the East Coast to a standstill.

Marquette (12-7, 2-5 Big East) is looking to snap a three-game losing streak. It defeated St. John's (7-12, 0-6 Big East) on Jan. 9 in Milwaukee in its last victory.
