NEW YORK (AP) -- Miami Marlins catcher Felix Castillo has been suspended for the first 80 games of next season following a positive test under baseball's minor league drug program.

The commissioner's office said Tuesday Castillo, on the roster of Class-A Greensboro, was disciplined for a positive test for Clomiphene, a female fertility drug.

The 24-year-old Castillo batted .252 with two homers and 19 RBIs in 147 at-bats for Greensboro. In six minor league seasons, Castillo has hit .238 with six homers and 56 RBIs. He's never played above A-ball.

There have been 84 suspensions this year under the minor league program, including 32 for drugs of abuse.
