MIAMI -- The Marlins Foundation and FOX Sports Florida, the exclusive regional television home of the Miami Marlins, will host a special on-air Fantasy Auction on Thursday, June 23rd. This is the eleventh consecutive year that viewers at home and at the ballpark will have the opportunity to bid on once-in-a-lifetime packages. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Marlins Education Fund.

To place a bid, fans can visit the Fantasy Auction stage at Marlins Park or call the Fantasy Auction phone bank at 305-480-3474. Fans can also track bid packages on the South Florida Ford Big Board and City Furniture Mini Board located in centerfield on the Promenade Level of Marlins Park.

The Marlins Education Fund was established to provide financial support to the education-focused partners of the team. Beneficiaries have included local universities and organizations, such as: Teach For America, City Year Miami, Breakthrough Miami, 5000 Role Models of Excellence, the National Academy Foundation, and the College Assistance Program, Inc. Since moving to Marlins Park, the Marlins Foundation has donated over $1 million to education.

As part of the auction, there will be a special moment as Marlins President of Baseball Operations Michael Hill, along with his wife, Vivian, and three sons, Donovan, Xavier and Baron, will present the first Hill Family Scholarship. The Hill Family Scholarship was launched in 2016 as part of Michael's commitment to philanthropy in South Florida. The scholarship is inspired by the core values of the Hill family and supports a deserving student in the pursuit of a college career. The scholarship is presented to a student who embodies Jackie Robinson's nine values. "A student, who is faithful to their core values, studies and works hard, can change the world one decision at a time," said Michael Hill.
