You read that right. The Bills defensive end has filed a lawsuit against his ex-fiancee Erin Marzouki for the 10.04 carat diamond he gave her that she hasn't returned. According to Courthouse News Service (via NFL.com), Williams "gave the ring to defendant in contemplation of the parties' marriage. Defendant accepted the ring as gift made in contemplation of the parties' marriage." However, Marzouki ended the engagement on Jan. 21 of this year. According to the lawsuit, "the termination of the relationship was solely caused by defendant. Defendant never intended to marry plaintiff and used the relationship as a means to get to plaintiff's money and acquire gifts. "Defendant has absconded with the diamond engagement ring. Plaintiff has demanded that defendant return the diamond engagement ring, but defendant has failed and refused to do so." Williams is doing everything he can to keep Marzouki from selling the ring. Well, duh. We here at Laces Out would want that ring back as well. What's more, the lawsuit says that Williams "provided defendant with an American Express credit card to use to pay her living expenses. Defendant incurred over $108,000 in charges on the American Express card between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012. "Further, during the parties' relationship, plaintiff purchased additional luxurious items in excess of $230,000 for the defendant." Well, that's where it gets murky. That money might be tough to get back. But we're on Williams' side as far as the ring. Come on, Erin ... you're not marrying the guy. Cough up the ring. And Mario: Stop being a showoff. Dude, $785K for an engagement ring? Really? Do we have to break the many, many, many thing you can get for that amount of money?
