The Minnesota Lynx on Monday trimmed their roster to 12 players, waiving guard Sydney Wallace and forward Courtney Williams.
The Lynx signed the 5-foot-8 Wallace on April 24, after a career at Georgia Tech during which she averaged 9.4 points per game. They signed Williams on April 20 after a senior year at Texas A&M during which she averaged 12.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
The Lynx began training camp with 16 players. They begin the regular season May 14 against the Phoenix Mercury at the Target Center.
