The Minnesota Lynx have waived guard Jennifer O'Neill.
The team announced the move on Wednesday after its loss to the Connecticut Sun.
O'Neill, in her first professional season, averaged 2.4 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 12 games for the Lynx. Last year, at Kentucky, she scored 14.4 points per game as a senior.
