The Minnesota Lynx have signed both of their 2013 draft picks, Ta'Shauna "Sugar" Rodgers and Janeesa "Chucky" Jeffrey, the team announced Wednesday.
Rodgers was the 14th overall pick in the draft after averaging 22.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists during her senior year at Georgetown. The four-time All-Big East first-team selection finished her career as the all-time leader in steals (326), 3-pointers (346) and points per game (19.4).
Jeffrey was the 24th overall pick, leading Colorado in scoring, assists, rebounds and steals as a senior. She was an AP All-American honorable mention and All-Pac 12 selection for the second consecutive year.
The Lynx will debut both players May 21 in their first preseason contest.
