The Minnesota Lynx have re-signed 2015 WNBA Finals MVP Sylvia Fowles, the team announced in a press release issued Tuesday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
A three-time WNBA All-Star and two-time Olympian, Fowles sat out the first half of the 2015 season after demanding a trade from the Chicago Sky, before helping lead the Lynx to a league title after a three-team deal brought her to Minnesota.
Fowles has averaged 15.7 points, 9.7 rebounds and 1.9 blocks through 204 regular season games since being drafted No. 2 overall by Chicago in 2008, and paced the Lynx in the finals last season with 15.6 points and 9.4 rebounds during a five-game series against the Indiana Fever.
