MINNEAPOLIS -- It's time to celebrate in the Twin Cities again.
As they did two years ago, the Minnesota Lynx will parade through downtown Minneapolis on Monday in commemoration of another WNBA championship. Starting at 11:30 a.m. on the corner of 12th Street and Nicollett Avenue, players, coaches and the title trophy will travel down Nicollet Avenue, hang a left on 7th Street and end up at the Target Center.
There, the 2013 champs will host a pep rally that begins at 12:15 p.m. They'll show a video commemorating the Lynx's second title run in the past three years, and owner Glen Taylor and members of the team will address the crowd.
FOX Sports North and FOXSportsNorth.com will broadcast the festivities starting at 11:30 a.m. Both the parade and celebration are free and open to the public.
