The NAU Media Relations department presents a “Lumberjacks Weekly” podcast, hosted my assistant athletic director and media relations director Steve Shaff, assistant media relations director Andrew Tomsky and media relations graduate assistants Stayson Isobe and Matthew Sewell. It routinely features coach and athlete interviews, weekly recaps and previews and insight into the 15 Northern Arizona NCAA athletic programs.
The 11th podcast of the 2011-12 academic year features a preview of the NAU women's basketball team's upcoming season, which starts Friday, with senior star Amy Patton. The podcast also looks ahead to football's home game against Southern Utah on Saturday as well as cross country's appearance in the NCAA Mountain Region championships and talks with head coaches Sue Darling, Jerome Souers, Eric Heins, Jack Murphy, Craig Choate and Andy Johns.
