Lions sign Kevin Ogletree

Receiver Kevin Ogletree has agreed to a one-year contract with the Lions after getting released by Tampa Bay.

Ogletree, 25, had eight catches for 70 yards and one touchdown in four games for the Buccaneers, who are in the middle of a major in-season shakeup on offense.

The Lions need the extra depth at receiver because Nate Burleson is out indefinitely after breaking his arm last week in a car accident.

Ogletree (6 feet, 1 inch, 198 pounds) spent the first four years of his career with Dallas. He played in college at Virginia.
