A fresh set of problems confronts the Lions, with a new lesson to be learned.

They have learned how to wade through losing streaks without giving up hope.

Now they have to handle winning.

Sounds easy, right?

It isn't.

The two-game winning streak they carry into Sunday's game at Miami is minuscule by most standards, but it is monumental for the Lions. For perennial playoff contenders such as the Patriots, Steelers and Eagles, winning two straight is nothing more than a nice start on a long run to the Super Bowl tournament.

It's something else for the Lions. Before Sunday's road victory over the Tampa Bay Bucs, they hadn't won two straight since 2007, when they opened the season with a two-game win streak and topped that with a three-bagger is Games 6-8.
