Let Them Eat Cake: No Love Lost Between Gordon-Bowyer Crews
Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer are parked next to each other in the Phoenix International Raceway garage.
Think that NASCAR teams don't hold a grudge?
A year ago at Phoenix International Raceway, a frustrated Jeff Gordon intentionally wrecked Clint Bowyer, triggering a brawl in the garage between Bowyer's Michael Waltrip Racing crew and Gordon's Hendrick Motorsports outfit.
This year, the two teams are pitted next to each other in the garage at PIR, and Bowyer's crew prepared an anniversary gift of sorts for their next-door neighbors: Two cakes topped with an image of last year's crash.
The Shake and Bake crew saw the actual cakes, which had Post-It notes affixed to the cake boxes saying "no pics." But the actual cake top looks a whole lot like the picture included here.
AVONDALE, AZ - NOV. 11: Clint Bowyer, driver of the No. 15 5-hour Energy Toyota, and Jeff Gordon, driver of the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet, collide on track during the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series AdvoCare 500 at Phoenix International Raceway on Nov. 11, 2012 in Avondale, Ariz.
Oh, and the sponsor on the rear fascia of Gordon's Chevrolet SS this weekend is ServiceKing Collision Repair Center.

As NASCAR Vice President of Competition Robin Pemberton once famously said, "Boys, have at it and have a good time."
