LeGarrette Blount sends blunt message to his former team

By Ross Jones, FOXSports.com LeGarrette Blount might be seeing some familiar faces Sunday as the Patriots host the Buccaneers, but that doesn’t mean the fourth-year running back will be giving them a friendly welcome. "I don't have no friends when I get on the football field,” Blount told 750 The Game. “I don't have no homies. I've never met you and I don't know you. That's how it is on the field. "When I step on the field, we ain't cool. We ain't nothing." In a day in age where most players have a mutual respect, Blount’s take is refreshing. Blount, 26, was undrafted from the Oregon in 2010 and signed by Tampa Bay. His first season he ran for 1,007 yards and 6 touchdowns. “I worked really hard and the undrafted thing really put a chip on my shoulder because I felt like I was the best running back coming out of my class so when I was undrafted I felt like I was forgotten about,” Blount said The Patriots acquired Blount in a draft-day trade with the Bucs.
