Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Toronto Raptors
March 20, 2005

On March 20, 2005 LeBron James became the youngest player to score 50-plus points in an NBA game. He was 20 years, 80 days old. Rick Barry of the then-San Francisco Warriors previously held the record at 21 years, 261 days old when he scored 57 points against the New York Knicks. Although James shattered his previous career-best of 43 points set on November 24 against the Detroit Pistons, the Cavaliers lost the game to the Toronto Raptors, 105-98. James arguably played the best career of his life but he is quoted as having said that none of it matters when you still get the loss.

LeBron James scores 55 points vs. the Milwaukee Bucks on February 20, 2009.
