LeBron James will sit out Wednesday night's game at Boston because of back spasms, the team announced.

The Miami Heat forward's absence came a night after he scored 43 points in a 100-96 victory at Cleveland. The King also had six rebounds, four assists, three blocks and two steals.

James has previously dealt with back spasms this season and is missing his second game of four in five days.

Heat guard Dwyane Wade, who sat out of the Cavs game in order to rest his knees, was available to play at Boston.

Greg Oden, who started at Cleveland, joined James as Miami's inactives against the Celtics. The Heat have tried to ease back the 7-foot center, who missed nearly four years due to chronic knee injuries.
