It's been a big National Signing Day for Ohio State, and it got bigger Wednesday afternoon when highly-touted linebacker Curtis Grant of Richmond, Virginia announced he will attend Ohio State.
Cleveland Glenville quarterback Cardale has also picked OSU after a long recruiting process. Jones is expected to attend prep school and enroll in January 2012. Braxton Miller, one of the best quarterback prospects in the country, is already enrolled at OSU.
Jones received an offer from Ohio State in the final weeks after his last visit to Columbus, and Wednesday morning the quarterback prospect picked Ohio State. Ohio State missed on Jones' teammate, offensive lineman Aundrey Walker, who chose USC. Another Glenville teammate, return specialist and wideout Shane Wynn, chose Indiana.
Two commitments from wideouts went against OSU this morning as Florida wideout Ja'Juan Story, who visited OSU late, stayed with Florida, while Baltimore wideout Darius Jennings chose Virginia.
The Buckeyes did get a signed letter of intent from Pittsburgh linebacker Ejuan Price - who had wavered in the final days - before Grant's announcement rounded out the class.
Stay tuned for more.
