The Lakers have sent Darius Morris and Robert Sacre back to the D-Fenders.

This will be Morris' third assignment this season and fourth of his career with the Lakers' D-League affiliate.  He's played in just one game for the D-Fenders, scoring 21 points while helping the team get a win in early March.

The Lakers have sent Sacre to the D-Fenders six times this season. Through six games the rookie center has averaged 11 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks a game.

The D-Fenders play their home games at the Lakers' practice facility in El Segundo. They'll host the Canton Charge on Wednesday night before finishing the regular season with back-to-back games starting Friday in Idaho against the Stampede.

It may be a safe bet to say Morris and Sacre are making another one-game stint with the D-Fenders, and will probably be in Laker uniforms on Friday when the team hosts the Memphis Grizzlies.

Morris, a guard, has fallen out of the rotation after making 17 starts while the Lakers were short-handed. In 45 appearances he's averaging 4.2 points a game on 32.9% shooting from the field and 37.1% from three-point range.

Sacre has made three starts and 31 appearances, averaging 1.4 points a game.
