SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) Lady Sheila Stable's La Verdad led every step of the way to romp to a four-length victory Wednesday in the $200,000 Honorable Miss at Saratoga Race Course.

A 5-year-old daughter of Yes It's True trained by Linda Rice and ridden by Jose Ortiz, La Verdad improved to 4-0 this year, all in stakes races, three of them graded. She ran six furlongs on a fast main track in 1:09.14, returning $4.60, $2.20 and $2.10.

Street Story sat off the pace before making a late run to get second, three-quarters of a length ahead of 4-5 favorite Judy the Beauty, who had stalked La Verdad through quick early fractions of 22.47 seconds for a quarter-mile and 45.03 for a half-mile.

Street Story paid $4.30 and $2.10 while Judy the Beauty, 2014 winner of the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint, returned $2.10. Enchantress and Ultimate Shopper completed the order of finish.
