Kobe Bryant did it big and pulled out all the stops for his wife Vanessa's birthday this year.
Bryant is usually leading the Lakers in the second round of the playoffs at this point in the season, but with the Lakers out after the first round, and Bryant nursing an Achilles injury, he had some time to plan a special birthday for Vanessa.
Bryant flew in Fabrizio de Togni, the head chef from Paper Moon, which is Vanessa's favorite restaurant in Milan.
Bryant wrote on Instagram: "He's a friend and agreed to fly in for Vanessa's bday dinner and prepare her fav dishes."
