Chauncey Billups underwent minor surgery on his knee and is expected to be out for at least 2-3 weeks, the team announced Thursday.

Billups, 37, has been limited to 19 games this season by knee problems, and has only played once since Jan. 10. The surgery trimmed the meniscus in his left knee, and should alleviate the tendonitis that has bothered him all season.

He will begin rehabilitation immediately and will be re-evaluated in mid-March.
