The U.S. men's soccer team is still waiting to hear whether coach Jurgen Klinsmann can be on the bench for Sunday's Gold Cup final against Panama.

Klinsmann was sent off in the 87th minute of Wednesday's 3-1 semifinal win against Honduras after protesting several no-calls against his players. Klinsmann slammed a ball into the ground and could be seen yelling and gesturing angrily in the direction of the referee. He later apologized, saying he'd acted out of frustration. But CONCACAF's disciplinary committee met Friday to review the incident and decide whether Klinsmann can be on the U.S. bench for the final.

The U.S. players say they'd be disappointed if Klinsmann were banned, but it wouldn't be a distraction.
