On Monday, the Detroit Lions kicker turnstyle rolled again as the team cut former Eagle Alex Henery after he missed all three field goals he attempted in Sunday's 17-14 loss to the Bills, including a potential game-winner with only 26 seconds remaining in the game.

Among the folks who watched Henery fail on attempts from 44, 47 and 50 yards was free-agent veteran kicker Jay Feely, who most recently played for the Arizona Cardinals in 2013. During the Lions-Bills contest Sunday, someone inquired about Feely's whereabouts.

And then:

According to MLive, Lions head coach Jim Caldwell said on Monday that the team would value experience at the position, but wouldn't rule out any options in the search for a replacement.

I can't help but wonder if every free-agent kicker sits around on Sunday with voodoo dolls and a six-pack muttering "NOONAN!"
