Kevin Harvick bringing back Cale Yarborough's iconic No. 11 scheme at Darlington
First Ricky Stenhouse Jr., then Dale Earnhardt Jr. and now Kevin Harvick.
The Bojangles' Southern 500 won't take place until Sept. 4th, but already some of NASCAR top drivers are rolling out their throwback paint schemes for the Labor Day weekend bash at historic Darlington Raceway.
On Thursday, Stewart-Haas Racing unveiled Harvick's Busch Beer-sponsored paint scheme, based on the one that three-time NASCAR Premier Series champion Cale Yarborough drove in 1979-80.
It's a great move: Yarborough is a South Carolina native and won five times at "The Track Too Tough To Tame" en route to a career that landed him in the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
