Tony Stewart wasn't the only NASCAR star having a good night on the dirt Friday night

While Stewart racing back to Victory Lane at Tri-City Motor Speedway in Auburn, Mich., NASCAR on FOX analyst Kenny Wallace was competing in the third annual Russ Wallace Memorial at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Ill., against the likes of Ken Schrader, Austin and Ty Dillon, Justin Allgaier and more than 30 other dirt racers.

The event honors the memory of Russ Wallace, the patriarch of the Wallace brothers Rusty, Mike and Kenny. Before his three sons made their names in NASCAR's top three series, Russ Wallace was making the family name well-known on the dirt tracks of the Midwest. Russ passed away in 2011.

A prolific dirt racer, Kenny Wallace races at a variety of dirt tracks multiple times a week. However, winning Friday night's race honoring his father was truly a special moment. Also a prolific Twitter user, Wallace shared his moment last night with all of his followers.

Much like Stewart's big win, Wallace's victory brought out a host of congratulatory tweets from fellow competitors.
