Josh Freeman: You never know with Rob Ryan

IRVING, Texas – Different offensive weapons and different coaches and coordinators equal a new offensive scheme in Tampa Bay. Because of that, Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman said Thursday afternoon that he had yet to watch the game film from Tampa Bay's 31-15 loss to the Cowboys last December.

During a conference call with Dallas media members, Freeman said he had plans to watch the film Thursday night.

Having new starting cornerbacks is the biggest change to the Cowboys defense from 2011, a unit that remains unpredictable under defensive coordinator Rob Ryan.

Freeman specifically mentioned how outside linebackers DeMarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer make it difficult for a quarterback to identify if the defense is lining up in a 3-4 or 4-3 front.

"You never know with coach Ryan, how he's going to call it up," Freeman said. "His defense has so many different looks, so many different fronts. They can bring pressure really out of everything with how they shift and stunt their fronts. We're just going to kind of cover it all, have a plan for all of it and go out and see what they do. React.

"We feel like we've got a good plan going in. I'm definitely excited. It's a great opportunity anytime you get an opportunity to play against a defense as multiple as the defense we'll be facing on Sunday."
