Guard Joe Johnson sat out Saturday's game with a sprained right thumb, the third game he has missed this season. Johnson injured his thumb against the Lakers on Wednesday and aggravated it in Friday's game.

The Hawks have lost players for 18 games this season, the lowest total in the NBA. Woodson was not sure if Johnson will be available for Tuesday's game at Charlotte.
