Johnny Manziel runs unofficial 4.56 at NFL Combine

Johnny Manziel didn't disappoint during his 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.

On his first attempt, the potential No. 1 pick ran an unofficial 4.63. According to the folks over at Bleacher Report, Manziel was expected to clock in between 4.50 and 4.60 during his run.

His second attempt proved much better when he ran a 4.56.

Manziel's times were still the second best recorded this go-around from a quarterback. (South Carolina's Connor Shaw ran 4.55) He was even close to posting Colin Kaepernick's 2011 time.

It's also worth mentioning, Manziel is listed as 5' 11 3/4", just a quarter of a inch shy of the 6' his camp promised he would measure.

UPDATE: Manziel clocked in 4.68 official time, ranked fourth among quarterbacks.
