Johnny Manziel ends his Twitter hiatus
The hiatus lasted 17 days but now it's over. Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel is back on Twitter.
The only freshman to win the Heisman Trophy stopped tweeting from his account on March 25 but started back up on Friday.
During a Friday interview on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM] in Dallas, Manziel told the RAGE show that he took a break from the social media site because "things were getting a little crazy."
So why is he back on? Simple. He doesn't want others calling the shots on what he can and can't do.
"I just want to be able to live my life and not let that be a distraction or something that affects me," Manziel said, "just try and be just like every other guy in college football that has a Twitter and be smart with it and have fun and talk to people and interact and do all that type of stuff."
Like @claytravisbgid said "don't let the haters win"

Good news for folks like me who blog. Manziel's pictures with LeBron James, Chris Paul and other famous athletes and hip hop artists seem to always generate interest from Aggies and young adults who wish they were living his life.
