Dusty Baker confirmed that Johnny Cueto will start for the Reds on Monday in Houston. It will be the right-handers first start since June 28, before he was placed on the disabled list for a strained lat muscle.
After throwing a bullpen session on Saturday, Cueto reported no issues and was cleared to return. The Reds will most likely limit Cueto's pitch count during Monday's game and for any future appearances he makes prior to the postseason.
