Johnny Cueto unleashes the 'Rocking Chair' in stellar performance
Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Johnny Cueto must have been listening to some Lil' Jon and the Eastside Boyz before Tuesday night's game.
A variation to his windup involved a little "stop, oh and wiggle with it yeah."
In the seventh inning, Cueto left Washington Nationals shortstop Ian Desmond dumbfounded with his special windup.
Catcher Brayan Pena shared the name of Cueto's move, "The Rocking Chair" after the game: "That's what you do back in our country when you want to lay back and just chill. That what [Cueto] does, he just wants to lay back and chill and then come in with that fire."
Cueto was locked in vs. the Nationals, pitching a complete game shutout with 11 strikeouts.
His dance moves and dominating performance impressed fans. As of Wednesday morning, he leads the NL in the Final Vote by a slim margin as the top are within one percent of each other.
